To welcome President Mei Yi-Chi backed Taiwan, the alumni of NTHU and National Southwest Associated University hold a reunion in Kaohsiung on December 4th, 1955. They also printed booklets of university anthem.University Anthem: With lyrics (“The Green West Mountain”) written by Professor Wang Luan-Xiang in 1923, the University anthem was composed by Zhang Li-Zhen and edited by Zhao Yuan-Ren.
Southwest Associated University Anthem: Lyrics written by Luo Yong (“Scarlet River”) and melody composed by Zhang Qing-Chang.
Tsing Hua Love Song: Written and composed by Luo Yi-Yao who graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering in 1996. It is also known as the non-official University anthem.
